Bush marks anniversary of war without using the word “war”

WASHINGTON – President Bush marked the anniversary of the Iraq war Sunday by touting the efforts to build democracy there and avoiding any mention of the daily violence that rages three years after he ordered an invasion. The president didn’t utter the word “war.”

If you don’t use the word, then I guess it’s not really a war right?

As much as I admire the propoganda skills of these guys (the same way you admire a diabolical evil genius in the movies), I really have to scratch my head and wonder if they really thought this would fool anyone. This is some pretty hardcore reality denial even for the Bush Administration.
